Has anyone been able to get Netflix working on an unrooted Acer A500. I've tried and gotten as far as logging into my account, but it won't play any video.

Has anyone been able to get Netflix working on an unrooted Acer A500. I've tried and gotten as far as logging into my account, but it won't play any video.

It only takes a few seconds to root the A500.
It's the only way to get NetFlix on the A500 at this time.

Follow the link for instructions. Even though it's for the Transformer, it works on the A500 also.

So the latest update let's you use netflix on any 2.2 or 2.3 device...... Finally

Not sure I want to root my Transformer running 3.2 until I know someone has a safe method. The only methods I have seen have been tested on 3.1, but that's it.

So, who's going to be first? Our intrepid Android community veryifying a method to root the Transformer, or Netflix getting their backside in gear and giving us a Honeycomb compatable version of their app? My money is on the good folks here on the forums.
