Netflix?

I also had the same issue. I was able to edit the build.prop one time with the free es file explorer. I tried for a while longer to change it again (to change samsung info to htc vision) and then I bought root explorer ( i think that was the name). I was able edit the build.prop several times. I have not found any info on what to do with es file explorer to get it to work more than once...

one other thing, I am not sure anyone has mentioned this is you have to keep an eye on how many devices you have activated on your netflix account. Once I got my NC working on netflix, I discovered it would make a new active device for each new ip addresses and when I changed my build.prop from samsung to htc, I had 2 or 3 more active devices. You are only allowed 6 active devices on netflix.

To deactivate devices on netflix, go to "Your Account" and then scroll down to "Manage Netflix ready devices and computers" and then deactivate the devices you are not using.

Yes.... This is the best way to also confirm that your device is being read properly based on the edited build.prop.

I just checked it and it was interesting to see that it had an Android device activated back in April. Must of been when the leaked Netflix app appeared. I know I put it on my phone (HTC Droid Incredible) and it worked for a short time.

so.... This was great to know as I deactivated that Android device to make room for other devices.
