So where am I going wrong, ES File Explorer will not save !!

I am running CM7 from and SD card, and using ES File Explorer.

I go into the build.prop file, and change nookcolor to Nexus S, and I change the bn to samsung, where it shows manufacturer.
After chaning the text, I try backing out to save, but it gives me an error when i try to save the changes?

I am running the same setup as you and had the same problem. Could not get it to work.

I purchased "Root Explorer" from the market. It is a few bucks to buy, but it worked.

When you use it you have to change the toggle on the top of the page from r/o read only to r/w read write.

Then, you can make the changes to the build.prop and they will save.

I am suprised at how well netflix works on the NookColor. It is a bit blurry for the first minute or so and then it clears up nicely and it pretty smooth.
