Network Error on Facebook App

The Facebook app keeps showing a Network Error message every single time I go on Facebook. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and to no avail. Does anyone know how to get rid of this and actually make the app work how it is intended?

you should have done a bit of search in the forum before creating a thread. here is the thread which discuss about this issue http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-galaxy-nexus/235314-facebook-network-error.html

uninstalling and installing facebook seems to fix this issue.

I did do that and i mentioned in my initial post that I have tried that.
