New 5.1.1 software update received, nice changes.

I received a suprise software update last night and I have noticed the following nice new features

All samsung icons have changed to a circle shape like the new Note 5

Photos now auto rotate

You can now share a photo directly to email from the Gallery app

Anyone else notice any other changes?

Even though it shows one bar I never miss a call which goes to Voicemail. I believe it's just the way this phone shows signal strength which needs to be fixed cos it very misleading. I have never seen it showing full signal bars.

It's the same on XSA firmware. I started on the Telstra firmware then switched to the Indian firmware when they got the 5.1.1 update for the S6 first and am now on the XSA firmware which is the non carrier firmware which seems to be much more stable. All three worked the exact same in regards to signal- one bar of 4G coverage and 3-4 bars of 3G. Though I found if ever the phone switched to 3G coverage I found that the battery seemed to drain in double the time on three bars of 3G than on 1 bar of 4G

I thought the galaxy edge 5.1.1 update was really bad. Worse battery life and less signal or mobile data or both. I remember reading it a few weeks ago thinking that I hope they either fix it for the reg s6, or don't ever push out an update... but here it is. Stuck in my notification bar.. should I do it???

Battery is now worse on this new update. 100% to 86% with 30mins of using Facebook.

Got the update 2 days ago and seen some good changes in music as well I always listen to music on my phone and they have changed it to be soother. My signal has got very good now before I would get 1 bar or 0 in my house/room I now just signal 3/4 bars it's amazing people who call me can finally get through.!

Reception seems to be better since the update, but still early days.

4g reception today has been stable on 1 bar. Pretty happy with the battery results so far.

got the update a few days ago, apart from the icon change I haven't really noticed much difference, but I never had an issue with my signal strength. As for the battery, it doesn't appear to have made mine worse or better - I still manage to get a full day out of the device, with about 40% left when I plug it in at night.

Just appeared. It gives you discount offers to local businesses for example 25% the total bill at a restaurant.
