New Android Market apk is here

The new market looks great! Thanks for sharing! However, I am having one little challenge. I am not able to install Videos. I click Install, then Accept & Download, and it acts like it's going to download but it just stops. I have a Samsung Captivate 2.2 stock. I'm not too concerned about it, but would like it to work properly nonetheless. Is anybody else having this challenge? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is anyone else seeing the twitter app under "update" in My Apps, even though it's completely up to date? Can't get it to go away, even after installing and reinstalling. Hmm.

On my 3d and 4G evos , it doesn't allow update as an option. My apps said I needed to update one. Market only had open and uninstall, as options. Back to previous version. What good is pretty if it doesn't have function?

I'm having the same problem. Strange.

Overall, it's pretty solid. My one issue is in regards to sorting. Give us an opportunity to sort anything and everything by date, purchase, rating etc. Or at the very least, just put comments back the way it was. As much as I'd love to hear what Carla said about Flash Player back in '09, I'd rather hear what Carl said about the Flash update on 7/15/11.

I understand this is an unreleased version, and there still can be changes made, and fixes worked out...but the comments thing worries me a little. It's how I judge whether I should update, or wait for a better update without bugs of a new UI, or added features which sometimes happens (weather channel, facebook, etc)

I don't think you can right now. I could not get it to work on mine. It should work after the Gingerbread release for the Atrix.

I figured id try this update b/c my current market version has been giving me "Download unsuccessful errors" non stop this afternoon.

I got the same thing on my Nexus S 4G. Ended up going under Settings -> Applications and removing updates from the Market app. Allowed me to log in fine after that. Sigh...was really looking forward to seeing the new Market goodness...

Everytime I try to install this it starts instlling like any other app but at the end it fails and says Application not installed, anyone know why? I am rooted on a Optimus S, uknown sources is checked...

my market completely disappeared on me today...i had to go uninstall the update to get back to the other market

i've downloaded the file, but i dont know which file to transfer to my sd card and install it on my phone.. i've transfered AndroidManifest.xml and when i click on it, it says application not available.. i may sound stupid, i'm new to the world of apps n market.. plz help..

you should see a file called com.vending.apk

that's the Market. Click that to install.

i've got some complaints about the market that i think the market app devs need to know about. anyone know where i can send them some feedback?

btw, isn't it interesting that you can send feedback for just about every stock app from google EXCEPT THE MARKET?
