Saw this on the Live Blog a few minutes ago. So glad to finally see a web store for the Market. I wonder what this is going to do to AppBrain, though.

I'm very excited for this. I'm hoping though this would work similar to Appbrain, like backing up your entire app list.

I just tried and couldn't log in.

Most likely flooded, I was able to sign in right when it went live. Now I can't...

yeah right when it went live i tried to sign in but no go.....seems like everyone cant sign in but im sure a fix is in the works as we speak....SPLMONSTER it seems like yur the only lucky on that sucessfully got to log in ...LOL

i think its great.....its does need alot of work though....i tried to install angry birds...and its telling me its already installed...but i un-installed it from my phone a month ago...so it wouldnt let me do it....but overall its prety sweet....im sure poeple will let them know of bugs and im sure they'll start ironing them out

Yeah I have not received that message. Using Chrome or IE...

I tried installing an app, and it went through smoothly. However it did not show up under My Apps in the Market, but it did install.

I can log in but downloads don't work. I went through all the trouble-shooting steps and still no apps being sent to the phone.

I fear it has something to do with my custom ROM.

Back in the day when AppBrain worked and was able to install apps for you. It worked great for me till I installed a custom ROM on my Galaxy S. After that it never worked. Apparently everyone using that custom ROM has the same IMEI number.

So I think the same issue that blocked AppBrain from working is blocking Google Web Market from pushing apps to my phone.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Does anyone running a custom ROM have it working? Anyone with a Galaxy S?

It's working. I was using IE. A old version. I never use it I always use chrome. I just clicked on it by mistake. Yeah it works fine on chrome.
