Hello, I just shifted from an iPhone to a Nexus 4. I love everything about it other than its crappy battery life (something I read before I even bought the device). Its just been 3 days since I got it.. I'll wait for a week, perhaps a month to see how the battery adapts. I know the typical battery saving tips (disable GPS, data, lower brightness, disable background updates, blah blah).

Hopefully it gets better.

Peace.

Welcome bro. Yeah nexus phones was never really well known for battery life but with the tips u already know about and cutting out all the background syncing u will be alright.
