New app discoverability and the SAME APPS hogging the front page on the Play Store.

Hi

Has anybody else noticed that the Play Store has the same suggested apps from 1 and even 2 years ago?

I feel that the new app charts are dominated by updated apps that are not actually new and small indie developers with quality apps have a very hard time penetrating the sea of other apps.

Do you guys resort to looking for top apps of the month on external sources like blogs and videos instead of the Play Store?

Are there any other issues that really bug you?
