New Battery same life as old battery

Am I doing something wrong? Just got the new battery this morning. I charged it up to 100 and it says I have 5 hours! What ever happend to 10? I have everything turned off except for WiFi, and screen is at lowest as possible. I've lost 1% every 5 min. Am I charging wrong? What's the deal? Can anyone help me?

Do a search on this forum for "battery"! You find a lot of other people have had problems and the best way to fix it! A weak carrier signal or wifi signal seems to be the leading cause. Some apps keep running in the background and do not shut down just because you go to another app! Even a bad SDCard can cause problems. There is no way to charge your phone wrong if you charge it a few hours every day. A usb port is not strong enough to charge it as fast as the original battery! Let us know what you find!
