New bloatware on Verizon replacements?

I bought the Note 7 on release day by walking into the store and buying it outright. I had calls and other things to do that day so I simply walked out of the store with the unopened box and my Note 5 still active. Later that day I opened it up and started getting everything set up and only moved the SIM from my Note 5 to the Note 7 the next day.

One thing I was surprised about was how little bloatware was on the original device. Usually Verizon installs a bunch of crap games and other nonsense through DT Ignite but this phone had none of that. I disabled DT Ignite and none of those apps came down and all was great.

I did the exact same thing with the replacement phone and this time all of the bloatware games and apps were installed. I had eBay, Kindle, and a bunch of games I could uninstall. I also saw that DT Ignite downloaded about 250MB worth of data over WiFi so I'm reasonably certain that's where it came from but I could be wrong.

I just got the Note 7 set up perfectly but I am considering doing a factory data reset and not even configuring WiFi before getting into the phone and disabling DT Ignite.

Did I just get a fluke Note 7 when I first bought it or did Verizon have these apps pre-loaded on the replacements? Can anyone else confirm that the original Note 7s on Verizon had less bloatware out of the box? I realize I'm being critical over apps I can disable but I hate to think my replacement is somehow worse than my original.

Thanks.

Nope, mine was loaded with much more bloatware then the original.
I must have had 5-6 different games like Big Fish Casino ETC. I uninstalled them all.

I haven't seen any games on our Note 7's. It did have Kindle but we both use that anyway. I don't seem to have any problem with Verizon.

Just following up on this. I had my Note 7 almost completely set up and ready to go but this was just nagging at me so I had to start over. I did a factory data reset and did not enable WiFi (or a Google account). Sure enough the only apps that were on the phone were Kindle and NFL Mobile. Last time I had eBay and three or four useless games and who knows what else.

I disabled DT Ignite and then enabled WiFi and was good to go. No apps installed outside of my control and this looks exactly like when I got my Note originally on release day.

Does this really make a difference? Probably not. I just hated having a different experience from my original Note 7 and hated that DT Ignite installed almost 250MB of stuff outside of my control. The extra work to set the phone up again is worth the price of my sanity. :)

That's strange, my Verizon Note only had Kindle (which I use) and NFL ( which I don't). No games or anything else.

I have all the crap this time, and searched for this post because I was wondering the exact same thing. I didn't have all these kiddie games on my first Note. Business teams had to come up with some sort of measure to get that recall deficit down.
