I can't speak for the OTA, but the RUU (which is rumored to be the exact same as the OTA) game me this:

I have to say I don't like the new boot screen. I also don't want to here it say droid on start up. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the original boot screen so why even change it. Looks to me like it will just take up a little more memory on the phone and for what.
