I don't know if anyone has heard, but by mid January we won't be able to upgrade annually anyway. My choice would be between the Thunderbolt and Bionic. Each phone sounds awesome though!
As some of you know, I'm at CES with the SPE gang. The Xoom is cool but fails in 2 ways. 1) it will not launch with LTE support. Customers can upgrade the Xoom but they are required to bring it in to Verizon for a hardware upgrade. 2) the micro SD card slot is not functional until a software upgrade is released. The slot is dual purpose. It is a combo SD/GSM slot for LTE. It was a sweet looking tab, but those 2 things kill it IMHO.
The Atrix is an innovative and interesting device. My question to you guys, is would you use the functionality it offers over a laptop? The laptop dock is cool. It allows you to emulate the Atrix screen and access full versions of Firefox and Facebook, but would you pack around the dock instead of a laptop? I'm not sure I would. It's very much like the Redfly device. If you like Redfly, you'll love this.
Any questions about either of the devices, feel free to post here.
I'm almost certain they will, and I will be there when they announce them, if I have to land on stage via helicopter.
Until I see something that I can root and install custom rom's on that has about the same size screen as the DX on VZW i'm going to sit tight...
hopefully that'll be something from HTC
I had a chance to view the Infuse 4G up close. 1) I think it's too freaking big. 2) The screen is gorgeous, but I didn't get to hold it in my hands and inspect it as close as I would like to have. Tomorrow, when we get some hands on time with the Infuse, I will be able to do some side by side comparisons to see if there really is a difference in the screen technology. I can tell you one thing - I will never carry a phone around that big. 4" is my favorite screen size.
I'm a size queen solol. That NOVA display seems interesting but i would love to see the data sheets on that. The claims that they are making about its efficiency doesnt sound right. The different ways of qualifing screens is unfair to the consumer. But either way LG is doing a great job of making giving Samsung a run for their money.
HTC has begun locking their devices down essentially as much as Moto have done...![]()
Even if just the brightness rating is accurate it's gonna be an awesome
