New DL30 Stock Browser Question.

Hello,
I know that the new browser In DL30 can use Google search instead of bing. But it still defaults to bing when using the location bar inside the browser. Is there anyway to keep it from doing this (besides downloading another browser.apk file)? I have google selected as my search engine (in settings). Any suggestions?

I think a lot of people have moved on to Dolphin HD browser. I'm not sure if you can take one of the browsers from the other Galaxy S Froyo roms and swap it out but that might be a solution of you don't want Bing as your default search from the stock browser.

No, I didn't wipe my phone before update. The only real problem I have had with the browser was the bing search through the location bar. But in all honesty I haven't used it for all that long, so other problems might show up.

In the stock browser settings there's a section to set search engine with options for google, yahoo, and bing.
