With the Pixel XL all your photos are uploaded to Google Photos for free so I was only using 16GB of the 32 on Apps

Thanks. I already have a 64GB Panda Pixel 2 XL as my daily driver and I'm already 58% full.

Though I have photos backup turned on, I usually prefer keeping a local backup as well especially for when I don't have data coverage.
