Video recording on a HTC Incredible S with vivokat 4.4.2 runs fine, except that there is no sound on the recording, neither system audio or sound from microphone. Does anyone have an idea why?
I'm about to test the Lite version. It looks like a maximum of approx. 15 seconds recording is allowed. Is that right?

I just upgraded to fullrate version, but niether microphone or system Sound is recorded. Video is ok. Any clu ?

I risked rooting my new Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, because my most pressing need is for screencasting tools, of which this one had showed promise. I cannot even start the app, after paying the price, on either the Note 10.1 or my phone, an SGS4.
I see now that this may be a hopeless case.
SGS4 :: updated to 4.4.2 and rooted
GN 10.1 2014 :: 4.3, rooted
My observation of Android in general is a general chaotic atmosphere reigns over the boards, it is very difficult to find help. It reminds me of early WIndoze online traffic, nothing like the mutual helpfulness found in various linux support groups. Even the OS seems designed to defeat users. (as soon as I solved my problem of updating Dropbox, after updating, Google/Android disallowed writing to Dropbox on the SD Card). It took me years to finally risk rooting my devices. No clear set of instrructions was available about rooting my device---or rather, there are too many ad hoc solutions to the problem... Each of them just as obfuscated as the last. The kind of clear cut instructions found in GNU/Linux documentation are lacking.
I want my money back for this app. The developer is not available, does not respond. The developer's email doesn't look like the name of a human.
Judging from the comments I have seen here, there is little hope this application will solve my problem. And, by the way, why does it require root?

Please support my phone name O+8.92 USA pleaseeeee because when i record it only show my logo of my phone so i think its still not supported thanks
I'd like to know what is wrong with this app. It doesn' work in my wife's Galaxy S3, rooted device. It keeps coming the following message: Fatal Error! Something is preventing Screencast from running. Please hit the "report button"..." I've done everything I could, sent millions of email to the developer, but nobody seems to care. At this point, I don't recommend this app for two reasons: the app doesn't work and the developer doesn't care at all!!!
I have tried to record games such as minecraftvpe and clash of clans but the screen goes all glitchy and weord colour lines are everywhere. How do I fix it? Thanks

When I try to record, the colors get inverted.

I am using Screencast and it is the best 
But when I watch my video from my game, colors are bad and screen is wierd. How to fix it?

I have a lg optimus g pro running cm11, black video screen when I try the recording, and I get a screen with LG logo every time I take a screen shot. It was running good except for the sound recording on my cm10 device.

No support. I want a refund I was patient but this is just plain theft taking money for nothing is just not on.

Where is the developer? Why doesn't he update or at least make a statement saying that he isno longer spring this app, then at least I'll know...

Apart from Shou, this is the only app that works on my Rockchip RK3188 and RK3288 chipset devices.
All that is missing is the ability to record internal sound and it would be perfect because although Shou has this feature, the picture quality of screencast is just that little bit better.
So what is the latest on the request features being implemented?
