New Firmware Pushed This Morning

3rd Party Apps: Superuser,Rom Manager, Shoot-Me, MetaMorph, and CacheMate

would rooming any of these apps help?(I am no longer rooted and on the newest stock zip because I got stuck on boot loader screen with security warning on.) How do you know if you have the firmware update already or not?

Not sure, but you might as well remove them since they all require root.

Regarding the update your build number is 1.13.605.7-1.12. You can view it in settings > about phone > software. Sounds to me like you need to start fresh.

I still haven't received the update. Oh well, none of the above methods work either.

I finally managed to run the update last night after using lteonoff to drop down to 1x. No adverse effects here so far, but I can't get over the absurdity of having to turn off lte to DL the update on an lte phone. What should have come down in < 3 seconds took more than 30 minutes. What a joke...

I have 1.13.7, just to clarify is the new update 7-1.12, thanks. Tried several times, still showing no further updates available.

I can report that after doing a battery pull, the GPS is spot-on in less than five seconds and I haven't had a random shutdown since before the battery pull.

Was having both shutdowns and reboots. Tried battery pull after talking with Verizon. Hopefully this works.

In AZ, switched to CDMA only and am downloading now. Could. Pt get it to dl on any other mode.

I don't know what happened between two days ago and today but two days ago my gps still sucked after I had updated. I decided to give it another try today and now it is a champ. Tried it both on wi-fi and 4G and in both cases right after I typed in where I wanted to go the signal was locked and telling me where to go in under 5 seconds, I hope this keeps up.

Well battery pull worked for all of 2 minutes. Phone rebooted right after last post. Frustrated and angry.

My upload speeds took a dive after the update. Can't even reach 1mbp now and I'm constantly losing 4g connectivity. I wished I'd never updated this damn phone :'(

I haven't seen uptime on my phone extend past 20 minutes since the update...how does firmware like this make it to the public!?! Who cares if it fixes the data connectivity issues, I could've rebooted my phone every 20 minutes before the OTA and that would've fixed it too.

Wonder how long we'll get to keep paying VZW for service and unlimited data while our phones don't work worth a damn. Make sure you call in to VZW support and report any issues you're having (reboots, etc) so they can log and track. If they don't get reports they won't be working with HTC on a fix.

I must be a fluke because before the update I never had any of the problems people report (other than audio issues). After the update I don't have any of the problems being reported. I'm wondering if there may be any way that the problems are resulting from early bad builds of the phone vs software.
