New Firmware Pushed This Morning

I've now had this new firmware for the past 24 hours. I swear I don't notice anything new or different. I mean absolutely zero difference. Am I missing something??

I agree... I still have these problems:

Old problems:

- Both mobile data and wifi will turn off after the TB has been sleeping for more than 30 minutes or so, meaning that I get NO alerts when I get incoming messages or texts

- GPS still refuses to get a lock for 5 minutes, without resetting A-GPS data

New problems:

- I've had 2 random reboots, where I had zero before

- Now, the phone will downrate to 1xRTT and then refuse to uprate to 3G (on Auto CDMA/PRL) without turning data off first

- Now, very frequently, the phone will refuse to go into airplane mode (it will say "Disabling network connections" and then nothing will happen.)

I don't know... all broken.

Well I posted somewhere before, but my tbolt had the gps problem, and 4g/3g handoff. After the ota signal was better. 4g handoff was great!!! I was able to get 3g at the canyons when before the ota it was stuck at 1x. But my gps still wasn't fixed. No reboot though.

Today I was trying to use navigation, and didn't lock at all!!! So I did a factory reset (which I wanted to do anyway). And now the last issue I had (gps) is fixed and now I can even get gps signal inside my house.where before I have to be outside in the backyard to get a lock....

Had one shutdown while talking on the phone this morning but that has been the only one. GPS takes longer to acquire signal. No other issues so far. Will try the battery pull as posted earlier to alleviate the excessive GPS acquire.

Question after downloading the new firmware for the htc thunderbolt, has anyone been experiencing a problem where your phone just automatically shut down for no apparent reason then reboot it self, plus it has just happen to a friend of mines after she down loaded the new firmware.

I'm not sure I even want this update after all the problems but why can't I get it? I go to settings/software update/check new... When I do that it checks for updates then goes back to the main software update screen. When I hit status all that is listed is Source: Verizon Wireless the rest is blank is that normal? Any help?

Did you get it yet?It's the 18th and nothing for me.

I did the update the day it came out. I had no problems at first, then after about 18 hours I got the dreaded reboot. The next morning it rebooted 3 times in about 4 hours. It hasn't rebooted since, which is about 3 days ago. After 24 hours of no reboots I did the battery pull, just for the heck of it. Its been 2 days after that and still no reboots. Gps would never lock on in my house and now it does,though I had to turn off wifi for it to lock on. Battery life seems to be a bit better, but it seems to take longer to charge.
