No crashes here, though the model I have is unusual, 4GB ram, 32GB onboard, and the 1.8Ghz processor.

Are you sure there's a model with 4gb of RAM and the slower processor?

WiFi seems to be less of an battery issue too.
If problems persist I'd try a factory reset

You guys who are not having crashes, have you tried configuring the new power settings? Mine crashes 100% of the time there. It also crashes and reboots using the stock browser (this is random - not immediately).

No crashing here at all.
I changed power management around some and tried browsing with the Asus browser and chrome for sometime.
If anything was to crash I thought it would be the stock video camera.
Also I was thinking Netflix might be a good candidate for crashes...not so luckily.

Video streaming does gobble the battery a lot.
