New galaxy watch,

Well it depends on what you'll be using it for. The Galaxy Watch removed MST for wireless payments. For me, and the the fact my S3 runs just fine, was enough to stay with my S3. Along with Workout Trainer by Skimble, I have all the exercise functionality I need. I can't say it runs faster or not. But I really don't feel like there is enough difference between the GW and the S3 to go with the GW.

I'd say, save some money and go with the S3. Look around, you should be able to find a S3 cheaper than $299

Yea, I don’t really care about the lack of MST, never had it before but that isn’t a reason to pick the new model. I’m not seeing the S3 anywhere for less than $299 unless it’s used but I will keep an eye out. Thanks for the reply!

Is there anyone here using Samsung Pay in the U.K., how are you finding it?, I'm using Google pay, but only because I'm with the RBS.

Kev.

Target has the Gear S3 frontier for $269.99 this week. And you can save another 5% if you use their credit card.

I have the Frontier S3 LTE and never really used the watch to pay. I got a Galaxy Watch and really like it except that TMO requires you to have a regular samsung phone in order to get the watch activated and it's own number. Found out the hard way after trying several times to transfer my S3 number to it. The one thing I like over the S3 other than battery life is that Samsung Pay does NOT lock the watch. When you press Samsung Pay, THEN a screen pops up and asks for the PIN, and only then.

Um, that's the way it works with my S3 Frontier. The only time my S3 ever asks for a pin is when I launch Samsung Pay. There's a setting on the watch to only use a pin for payments.

I see, I found it. I still like Tizen 4.0 on the Galaxy Watch. Wish it would come to Gear S3 real soon. I'll keep both.
