I just got my Gear S from Sprint, so far I think I have it figured out. I can't figure out how to use one feature though. I have noticed that with the watch in sleep mode sometimes the time pops up. I would like to use this feature more often just to get the time, but I can't figure out how to make it happen when I want it to. Any body know how to get this to work when I want it to. I have tried waving my hand over the face but that doesn't seem to work. Thanks for any help/advise.

If I understand what you're asking, you only need to lift your wrist to look at the time and the display will pop on.

Within the settings menu you can adjust how long thr display stays lit. But a simple lifting of your wrist will activate the display and allow you to see the time.

what your looking for is under settings/motion/wake up gestures if you check that box evertime you lift your arm to look at the watch it will display the time.

I find that under Settings, Style, Clocks - check "Clock always on" shows the time always with a faded display to save battery power depending on the watch face being used. I prefer this always on setting.
