I need to know how to roll back or undo the newest Gmail update. It's screwing up notification stuff I have for Gmail. I had a widget to show me unread emails (SMS Unread count) but now it keeps force closing if I try to make a widget for Gmail. I know its not an issue with the SMS Unread conut app because it works fine for making widgets for phone calls and text messages. Also, with the latest Gmail update, GoLauncher no longer shows me unread count in the dock, even though the setting is checked to do so.

just go to setting, manage applications, select gmail and then click the uninstall updates button

thanks. unfortunately that option isn't available. seems i'll be stuck with this until gmal releases another update.

Try going into Android Market and looking at your installed apps. That is where I remember seeing the "Uninstall Updates" button.

Does anyone possibly have the 2.3.4 apk? I'm considsering a full wipe to get it back.

I just tried to use this method and that's how I figured out my Market app no longer works after this update either. Gotta factory reset now. Again. Sigh.

I just got the Bionic but none of the third party gmail apps work with it how do I uninstall gmail to go back to an older version I already rolled back what was on the phone
