New Google authentication

Now that Google has started this two-stage identification, personally I find it in a pain in the ***. I know it's for security but it's getting damn tiresome, every time I go on the internet have to use the damn authentication thing. So I have to go look for the phone, logon, look for the authentification, blah, blah. Seems to be hit and miss ,like when I log onto YouTube for example, sometimes it's still logged in next-day after restarting computer, other times I have to go through the authentication again. As it seems to be still logged on next day on some occasions, is there some way I can make that permanent?

What internet are you using? You should have to only authenticate one time and keep the device login remembered for all the other times. You use it as a trusted device or the internet.... YouTube are you using the app or are you logging in from the website but once you log in it should keep you logged in unless you log out..

Are you using Incognito Mode? That would probably require you to login again each time.
