Has anybody that has received the updated Google Play Store https://www.droid-life.com/2017/04/...mes-google-play-section-seems-rolling-widely/ noticed any issues with their phone? When I open the Play Store app my phone pretty much freezes or is very unresponsive for a good 20-30 seconds.

I did that a few days ago when I had some apps that had updates but tapping the Update button did nothing. I went into the app info to clear the cache and that worked but it still was causing the phone to be unresponsive.
I see now that they've changed it again, apps that are updating look like they do on iOS, with a circle going around the app icon in the store, before it had that horizontal line.
Anyway, I'll try wiping the cache partition later and see if that helps.
Yeah. I don't know how I feel about that. It happens much more quickly than it does on my iPad, but still. Is that really something anyone needs to copy? Wasn't the Pixel design enough?

It may have a similar design language, but it certainly condenses the update page. I can see so many more apps on my screen with the new style. I like it a lot better than the old look.
I also like the style better....no complaints there, but even after wiping the cache partition it's still causing my phone to stutter.
