New Google Wallet and Android Pay - Tap and Pay ?

Apparently no such luck. Now that Android Pay is accessible in the Play Store, it says it is 'not compatible with this device' when I click on the 'Install' button for my VZ Note 3. Anyone else? Wonder what they'll do with the 'old' google wallet app on my phone that was supposed to upgrade itself to Android Pay??

I have the same here. Very disappointed as I was under the impression that Pay would work on the Note 3. I have not seen any documentation stating that it won't.

On the app page it clearly states:

Install Android Pay on any NFC-enabled Android device (KitKat 4.4+).

I'm not surprised they screwed this up, though. Now watch, they'll purposely "break" Google Wallet and we'll be without everything. You just watch.

Yeah, what's the deal with all that? I know we never had tap and pay once softcard died, but our device clearly meets the requirements... If Android Pay is a new app with new code, why can't we use it?

I know, right? My old S3 worked with Google Wallet, that was in 2012. Get your chit together, Verizon.

If I remember correctly, the issue with the Note 3 is due to Samsung and the chips used. If it didn't work in the old Google Wallet, doubt it will now. That is the main reason I got rid of my Note 3, tap and pay for the Note 3 would not work.
