New guy sayin' HI!

Hi All well I hope I am in the right place to get some help with my Samsung S7,which after a hard reboot has decided it will show only Chinese.
The reason I hard rebooted it was because with 100% battery charge it would slowly get to around 40 % then say 0%,it would only charge with the phone off,and I was told that it could well be a firmware problem and so I rebooted it,all that went well,but with a mostly white screen with chinese writing I get the feeling I will need to get it to a repairer,unless anybody has a idea I can try.

I got into a Chinese menu only the other day, though not on a Samsung, and could only get out of it by opening the phone - difficult- and disconnecting the battery.

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Intro forum to the S7 forum, since you're asking about a specific problem.

Where did you get the phone from? There are a lot of Chinese knockoff/clones out there, so this is a possibility.
