I hate these intro posts. I never have any idea what to say. Um, hi. My name is Teri and I'm in Florida. I have the LG Optimus V phone through Virgin Mobile. I love the phone and Android hasn't been too hard to navigate around. This is my first 'smart phone'. I came here by searching google because i'm trying to trouble shoot my phone. I'm not getting any internet for some reason. I've looked through the board and figured I would go ahead and join because I'm sure I'll end up with more than one question about Android.

Welcome to the site Teri, sounds like your 3g is having issues and that's common with the Optimus V. Try running the activate program again.
