New Inc2 Owner looking for some info.

Hi guys, just got my Inc2 a few days ago and I'm loving it. I'm looking to get some accessories for it but I needed a few things cleared up before I started dropping cash.

First off do any of the 3rd party desktop cradles activate the dock mode on the phone the way the OEM cradles does?

Second, I was wondering if the Zagg skins were pretty good protection for the phone? I know it's know TPU or silicone case but it's an option.

And finally, in the even I do decide on something other than a Zagg skin/Invisible Shield combo, are TPU preferred/recommended over silicone or vice verca?

I know it's quite a few questions but it may help with getting what I need soon. This is kinda my first serious smartphone where I have to worry about actually cracking/breaking the screen or damaging the body. My previous phone was an Optimus V (plastic screen, pretty tough) so I didn't have to worry as much.

Any and all help or suggestion would be appreciated.

I have a tpu case, a silicon case, and a hybrid hard soft case. Hybrid is the strongest but I use the tpu the most becuase it is durable and thin. You may want a screen protector too. I got mine from Verizon, they can install it for you. I hate the non glare ones becuase they have a dull finish. The glossy ones seem to be the best. Even though the screen is durable its not scratch or shatter resistant.

I am not sure on the docks.

Thanks for the info, I'm definitely getting a screen protector. Not sure about he dock since I may get a case.

Not quite a hybrid but it seems good, silicon skin wrapped in a partial hard shell that isn't too bulky. I happened to see one for the iphone 4 and I figured there would be one for other phones as well.

Yea that case will definitely protect the phone well. It may be a tad bulky, but I am not sure because I haven't used that kind of case. The tpu and silicon are my faves but they really only protect against scratches.
