So far the only issue after the OTA update, is During a call the phone will lock out when you pull it from your face. Not really a huge deal, but if you set your screen sleep time to 15sec (saving battery life) then trying to dial extensions becomes a pain.

Actually, I believe what you are describing is by design. Happens to me too. If I pull the phone away from my face (especially if I'm on hold or something') and keep it away long enough for the timeout to kick in, the screen goes dark. Easy enough to fix though, just push the power button just like any other time you wanted to wake your phone up. Mine doesn't ocme up on the the lock screen, it comes up right where I left off -- still on the call. Mine has always done this. Even before GB.

I got the lock screen tho. My screen would black out during the call then once the prox sensor detected that my face wasnt against the phone then it would light back up. My old Eris worked that way an so did my TB until now.

I seem to be losing my 4G connectivity more often than before. I used to be able to get 3G at home, but now I have to rely on wi-fi at home. To me, 4G is why I brought my phone (thunderbolt) and I have yet to have 4G available to me full-time.

I have had four TB's and I have had this issue with all of em. I think its a firmware issue they can't lock down that doesn't effect everyone's phone. I live in a 4G area, not extended and I can't get a steady 4G connection to save my life anywhere.
I was in hold with support today who escalated my issue so I will hear back in up to 4 days to see what the issue is but I am sure its not the network its the TB.

Same here. I don't get 4G at all anymore. I'm lucky to get 3G...many times I look at the phone and there's no connection at all, not even 1x:mad:

I'm pretty sure this started happening when the 2nd OTA came across.

I think the phone is treating time spent on the call as "idle" time, which is probably appropriate. I have a company-issued one, and it PIN-locks after 15 minutes of "idle". If I'm on a call for more than 15 minutes, the phone will PIN lock (which is a REAL pain if you have to enter an extension or interact with the phone, because we have to use a long password with numbers and letters to unlock it).

If you have your screen set to time out after 15 seconds to save battery, you might want to re-think that strategy. Personally, I set mine to ten minutes. To save battery, I simply press the power button to turn the screen off when I'm not using the phone.

Odd, that. I've found my connection to be MORE stable since the latest OTA. But I'm not in a 4G coverage area, so maybe the signalling is different in areas that don't have 4G yet.

I'm looking forward to visiting some relatives in Bradenton, FL this winter. I might see the 4G logo for the very first time.

Mine is very stable now too. Better than ever. Very happy with it. And I'm in and out of 3G/4G areas all the time. Including driving cross country multiple times. Beats me.
