New KitKAt 4.4 Images Leaked, what do you think???

According to All About Android, it's not a Kit Kat or Nexus 5 event, it's just changes to the Play Store (new version of the Play Store, Magazines becoming Newstand that includes a partnership with newspapers, and Designed for Tablets getting a more prominant placement).

They might be correct however seems rather odd to have a big event for just that. We will see of course, but I would be surprised not to see something at minimum kitkat related.

So it looks like window dressing and tap to pay (if your specific device supports the tap to pay)... I hope the major changes are there that are hoped for as far as smoothness etc... I use a 3rd party launcher, and don't expect to change, but might if the stock interface does what I would like. I have a phone with an NFC chip, but no support for Google wallet, so I don't expect tap to pay to be available either (if LG even updates for the phone).

Even though I see nothing compelling, I still want it, because I am a sucker for the upgrade mania. :D

I think I'm the only one who prefers the new phone icon over the old. The old looks a bit too much like plasticine.

I think that there's not much change regarding the user interface and also I don't hope to see it anytime soon...

I would personally rather have Google focus on fixing the under the hood problems like the system lag and inability to scroll properly. Both Windows Phone and iOS are smoother OSs than Android and would like it to catch up to those rather than having a new UI. I think the UI needs work but its infinitely better than what is was.
