IS this the S8 Plus? I will be getting the S8 Plus, but personally I like the Note 7 design better still because the curves on this look more extreme still.

This sucks though because if I had the Note 7 still I wouldn't be getting an s8 Plus but wait for the Note 8.

I agree with you on this, I think it is more the shape of the phone to me. This phone is more rounded than the note 7 and i think it makes the edges look worse too. Im so undecided what to do, man I wish I had the note 7 lol.

The recent final leaks confirms the S8 design. How do you feel now? What do you think about the rounded corners, curved edges, home button in the back, etc.? Are you planning to buy the S8 now? Its not as bad as it used to be.
But I left the S7E with super bad curved edges and went to the Note 7 and it was a little better.
Then I got the note 5.
Don't think I like the curved edges. never used them for anything.
And they seem to make the screen smaller.
If you like what you see.
it may be the phone for you.

I'm trying to see if the edges are like the Note 7 or the S7edge... I really liked the sharper curve of the Note 7 over the S7edge. the S7edge produces so much glare with its curve as opposed to the Note 7. HOWEVER, the fricken pictures are watermarked right at the edges in those pictures. lol It kinda looks like it's curved like the S7edge. Darn. Anyway, I am dying for the extra memory. My S7edge is constantly low on storage and the Note 7 fixed that for me... for a little while. I'm planning to get both S8 and Note8.

Is it me or do those pics look like the phone has a glass screen protector on top. Haha

Edit: actually I take it back - looking at the edge in the BGR photos, it looks very much like the Note 7 edge.. Hope that's the case. Still find the fingerprint reader in the awkward spot since I hold my phone in my left hand.

I'm not sure but I think the S8 screen edge is more similar to Note 7 than S7E? The corners are more rounded than Note 7 though.

I think the edges are closer to the note 7 but it's the actual shape of the phone that looks more like the s7 edge which in turn I think makes the edges look worse in pictures.

I just love the more squared look of the note 7. But I can't wait to see this in person.

Well, as an S7 edge owner, im very dissapointed. I thought it was going to be a full frontal screen like the mi mix. I know it'll have the 835, but how much faster is it in real world applications. My favorite phone is my ZTE axon7. Don't laugh. It really is faster than my S7 edge. A super great phone. I bought for the sound system not realizing how great a device it is in every respect. Funny thing is that my S7 edge is on Verizon, and my axon7 is on project fi (T-mobile) . So, I'm going to stay with my S7 EDGE and axon7. I'll wait to see what ZTE has in store for the Axon 8.

That MI Mix is not even usable. Samsung still needs to sell phones, and something as extreme as the Mix phone will scare off a lot of their customers.

Wait till you see this phone fully in action. You will be stunned.

Depends on how it's implemented on the S8. Neither you or I have that information yet.

I think there's too much curves. Way too curvy for my taste. I think they are trying too hard and now it's gonna look weird.
