new lock screen post android update may 16

just updated .
I use swipe pattern for lock. but now have a padlock on screen to swipe before I get to pattern . how do I get rid of padlock screen please.

Welcome back! I don't believe you can turn that off. Marshmallow added that additional swipe to get to the unlock screen (probably to help prevent accidental unlock attempts while in your pocket or purse). Possible workarounds include using your fingerprint scanner to unlock, or using Smart Lock.
