New Moto X4 or Oneplus 3t

I'm looking for a mid-range phone. Which of these two is the better option/buy in 2017. I realize both boot loaders can be unlocked. But which will have better developer support? Thanks

While I think OnePlus has been a bit varied in keeping its previous iterations updated for long periods of time, I'd still recommend the 3T. Plus, it's just one iteration behind the 5, so (but don't quote me!) I still think it'd be a phone that would receive updates and such for at least a while. The 3T is probably the best bang for your buck out there!

Thanks I'm leaning towards the Moto x4 only because its newer and can be used on Verizon where the 3t can't

I do agree with you there: the Moto device will definitely get updates for a longer period of time... And the fact that it is compatible with Verizon is huge! Are you going to get it?

Verizon = Moto x4.
OP doesn't make phones compatible with VZW, yet.

Thanks for the replies. I went with the one plus 3t. I like moto, and I prefer Verizon, but at&t is more than acceptable in my area.
