New Nexus 4 purchase: Anyone get a shipping notification or tracking number?

According to Paulo he ordered 5 mins after they went live. You can be sure that there is going to be no rhyme or reason for this cancellation just like how random the stupid orders shipping out are. I'm currently extremely annoyed and rly don't understand how they can't handle a launch like this.

What was the last status of your order under google play?

On google play it was "complete", but on wallet, the transaction was listed as "pending". I do have a pending transaction on my amex card!

Then again, I was one of those people spamming refresh after orders sold out, and finally got my order placed at 2:46pm EST. 3 weeks ... My Verizon contract doesn't end until December 1 anyway, so it's not that bad for me. At least they're crediting the shipping ...

If I have to wait another three weeks I think i'll just call Amex, dispute the charge and then cancel the order. I wanted to try the N4 but if this is an indication then I'll just stick with my iPhone 4 and wait another cycle.

I purchased the phone less than 5 minutes after they started selling it =(

What time did it say on your order and was this a 16gb with no bumper?

I ordered not long after sales went live and I ordered just the phone and no bumpers and still have not received any shipping email. My Google Wallet still says pending.

Same here, my order was processed 11:35am EST on Nov 13th and I only ordered the 16gb Nexus 4, nothing else. Order is pending in Google Wallet, Charge is pending on my credit card and in Google Play my order status is: "Shipping estimate: November 15, 2012"

My order went through at 11:34am EST on Nov 13th.... haven't heard a peep yet. Status still says shipping Nov 15th

People who are getting the "Due to overwhelming demand" email did you ever get a confirmation email? Also could you post what time/timezone it got confirmed. I understand if they aren't shipping them out based on purchase time but if they are shipping out orders that got placed after mine just to send me an email saying "Due to overwhelming demand...bla bla " that's a little crazy.

I actually just switched from Lumia 800 to N4. (Please note Lumia 800 and 900 were almost the same besides the screen size). Even though it was the high end WP7, I couldn't deal with WP7 anymore due to horrible horrible camera. I take an insane amount of photos on my phones and I had Nokia N8 before Lumia 800.

Now the newer generation of the WP8 seems improved. However, I had been very very disappointed with WP7's couple aspects. I actually carefully compared all the photos taken with the N4 (pre-release firmware), Lumia 920 and various other phones and decided that I would rather pay $350=tax for Nexus 4 than $450+tax for Lumia 920. I am sure WP8 is much much better but the simple fact is that some of the Android apps I needed required a phone rather than the tablet I had. I had to buy an Android phone.

8GB, no bumper, SF Bay Area, order went through at 9:13 PST. Fingers crossed!
