Got a Nexus 5 as an amazon refurb, with the only previous issue of damaged packaging. It's still running 4.4.4, but judging by all the Lollipop complaints, it's not really an issue.
The issue is the speaker that just won't work. To clarify, I can take a phone call, but the speakerphone, the alarm or any video playback is completely silent.
I've done restarts in safe mode and a factory reset and nothing. I honestly don't remember if the speaker worked to begin with. Posting this thread because any related ones have their Nexus 5 running Lollipop.
