New Nexus 6P

Hey guys, just got my nexus in the mail! Quick question.. When I turn on and off the device, I get a vibration (I believe this to be normal), but what I don't think is normal is I get a "pop" in the speakers every time... Only happens when the volume is on. Not on vibration mode.

Should I be concerned?

Probably the lock sound. You can turn that off in settings.

Awesome! Appreciate the info.. First time with stock Android and my V10 and Note 5 never did it outta the box

Yup, lock sound. I have that turned off. I agree that it gives the feeling that something is not right. I had the same sound on my Nexus 6 and 6p. All good, nothing broken with your phone
