I ordered a refurb Nexus 6 from ebay (wish I'd waited a few days since now a new one is $300) and hope it works ok. I'm pretty excited to finally get this phone and had a few questions -

- do you think a refurb is taking too much risk? esp with things like burnin possible etc? I saved some money on it but it has no warranty
- do you guys disable the navbar and status bar to prevent burnin on the panel?
- I have a Nokia wireless charger (the one sold at AT&T), I'm assuming it will still work
- I also read that using a custom kernel is needed to fix the screen color calibration and that makes it look a lot better
- also from what I read to enable the hidden notification LED you need root. How many do this?
- I have a Note 4 charger from someone else. Is that good enough or do I need to buy the Moto Turbo Charger for the quick charging feature?

I just want to run this phone stock as much as possible (maybe use the official Google M image unless the OTA is out by then) but it seems like a few critical things require root and customizations.

I found there's a huge difference between the Motorola turbocharger and other micro USB chargers although I haven't tested many of the others. When you use the Motorola turbocharger it charges really really fast. I also got a turbo charger for my car on Amazon and it cost $10 and that works really fast as well. My other chargers from Samsung or other microUSB Chargers all work but they are really really slow.

Adaptive fast chargers from Samsung charge really fast, along with the turbo charger the Nexus came with.
