New notification when closing chrome tab?

In the last couple days I noticed that when I close a tab in chrome a notification pops up at the bottom of the screen displaying the name of tab I'm closing and has a button to undo it. Is there any way to disable this? Its annoying to me. I checked the settings in chrome and didn't see any way to stop this. Is is something they just added? I don't remember it doing this before, I think it just started doing it yesterday.

Yes this was a part of the new update. Undo closed tabs. I don't think you can turn it off.

It's new, and I agree it's distracting. No way to turn it off.

that's unfortunate, its really annoying, is minor but little things like that bother me haha. at least I know I'm not the only one that feels that way.
