Installing in Denver now. 'Bout time.

Just a note to others that come along and read this, REMEMBER - let it do it's thing! I did the 'Check Now', it told me there was an update, asked if I wanted to download, I said yes, it downloaded - and then..... it sat.... and I waited.. and it tested my patience,

but then FINALLY it asked if I wanted to INSTALL what it had just downloaded.

So, given the last round of bricking that happened w/ the last OTA update, I would recommend being patient - even when your EVO is just sitting there - dark - blank - leave it alone and let it do it's thing...

I know.. it's hard... but just do it!. My install bar looks to be about 98%

Be patient after it tells you 'congrats you have installed blah blah'. The HTC screen will be up for what seems forever, then it will go through again.

Man this thing is sitting at the "4G" screen for a looooooooooooooooooong time - like REALLY long time!!

Speaking of 4G, I'm hearing that folks are getting 4G all over our area - you picking it up there?? I tried today, but no luck...

Hmmm - still on the "4G" boot screen the whole time it's taken to post this... and it's still... just... sitting.... there... lol

Just left the 4G screen and 'rebooted' again - Looks like I'm finally up and completed!!

Oh.. too soon.. Now I'm on that HTC screen that last mentioned...

Update when smooth, no issues here. Testing everything out now to make sure its all good.

I will have to wait to get the OTA because I, like many did the manual update.
On that topic, any one that manually updated get the OTA???

No issues - there were a lot times where it tested my patience, but all went smooth.

Now I guess I gotta wait for the AC article on what's actually changed, cuz it all looks the same to me (at first glance) lol

What is in the OTA update that wasnt in the previous version? New stuff, big fixes?

Would like to know that as well. I just applied the leak yesterday, but no luck on the OTA yet. Hopefully Sprint or HTC will post a manual update as well so we don't have to wait for the OTA.
