New OS same problems

anyone else still having wifi issues in CM9. have to turn it on and off again roughly every five minutes just to get a connection.

everything else seems fine in the OS and I'm really frustrated that wifi is the only thing that doesnt seem to work properly

Did you upgrade directly from CM7 or was it a fresh install? If you did it from CM7 I'm fairly sure there's a fix floating around this forum somewhere, I personally just went the safe route and did a fresh install to avoid any troubles like that.

i wiped off cm7 and did it fresh

Wifi is fine on mine, been up and running for over 5 days now without a break (since last reboot) I think the CM team are having a bit of a headache with the touchpad because of the hardware variations. So please go easy on them I'm sure they are working there rear end's off trying to make all of us happy !

wifi is still glitchy. . .but there is ways around it. . try downloading wifi fixer, it does the job toward fixing it

Go into wifi settings and forget the network (long press on the network name). Reconnect and you should find the wifi is stable now

I think I may have been a little hasty in my criticism. After a couple of reboots I have had no problems for about 3 days now. The only issue I notice is that if the tablet has been on standby for a while I might have to turn off wifi and turn it back on to get a connection but other than that its been great.

I would love swipe text as the next function.
