Hi All, I just purchased the Samsung Note 8 yesterday, I think its the perfect side tab and the screen looks great. The only concern I have is the 9.7GB left thanks to Samsung. I have added a 64GB card for more storage but as you know this will not help much when downloading and installing apps. My question is, how did many of you deal with this storage problem? How many of you have rooted to help solve the problem..and does rooting help at all? If I do root, will the Note 8's interface remain the same or can I expect changes, if so what can I expect?

Thanks!

I never ran into a problem with the storage myself. Rooting and using an app to sd app would probably work well for you. Rooting literally takes two minutes and is foolproof.

I don't have that many apps installed that it has become a problem. I just simply store everything else externally.

Is it easy to unroot it if I need warranty service? How do I unroot it for warranty?

I just got finished rooting my Note 8. The reason I did this was so I could move apps to the SD card. Well...after the successful root, I tried app2SD and link2SD and both tell me my device is not supported. Yikes! This was the ONLY reason I rooted. Does anyone have anything else I could try?

I still haven't rooted yet...not sure if there's gonna be much benefit.

Yes...if I cant move apps to SD, I rather un-root. I am not interested in custom ROMS.
