Question new phone suggestion

I have note8 that works fine for my purposes. not yet set up as a phone, just browser.

Problem is some apps will not work anymore for this model and i am told it is not compatible with 5G

what model note or other samsung do you recommend as areplacement that is not expensive.

I'm not a phone enthusiast, just need somethng basic but more up to date.

Don't need bells and whistles. a note 20?

are any of you familiar witih the refurbished phones on the site Black Market or Gazelle.

Yes I do
AI and Google account both can be off and signed out but it's brutal with no Google account I'm sure
