Honestly, I love my Bionic. I haven't had any issues with it (other than a bootloop which I caused myself lol) and I think the display is beautiful. I know a lot of people would disagree with me on the display, but I think it's bright and crisp. The only times I notice any pixelation is when an image first loads, but my eyes adjust and compensate right away. The other is red text on black background. That gets a little hard to read. The magnified pictures that people show to enhance the pixelation is unnerving because I can't even focus my eyes if I hold the phone close enough to my face to get it that size.
I haven't had many connectivity issues like other people have mentioned. I have dropped data once or twice, but I think that may have been the area I was in. Mine switches seamlessly from 4G to 3G without hiccups.
My only complaint about the Bionic was more or less fixed by the last update. The camera was a bit laggy on using the autofocus and would sometimes seem to take forever to actually take the picture. It's much snappier now and was never actually a huge issue for me. Having a camera on my phone is an added bonus. I have an actual digital camera for picture taking lol.
Mainly, I would say go to a store and play around with a Bionic. That's the best way to tell if the screen will bother you. You can take a look at the camera and UI and everything else.
I'm completely happy with my Bionic. The battery life is great (I am a moderate user. Generally it does go down faster if I spend all day on the phone making phone calls or watching movies, but you can't expect a lot when you use it that much) Right now I'm at 63% remaining and my phone has been on for 10 hours and 4 minutes. I've had GPS and Wifi on all day. All of my notifications (Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, etc) are set to push. I spent half the day on 3G and half the day on 4G. Made about 14 phone calls (average of 10 minutes). I love my Bionic. No regrets, no jealousy of other phones.
