New phones

So currently I have the LG V30 with T-Mobile. I have been looking into getting a new device since I cracked my screen awhile back. I can actually buy a new V30 from amazon for around 220 dollars. Not too bad!

Also, apparently Costco right now is having a deal on the Galaxy S10 for 420 dollars. I wouldn't mind purchasing this device either.

What route would you go?

That is a tough choice! What is it about the V30 that you enjoy?

I will offer a bit of a biased perspective, as I just bought an S10 a month ago. It was my first introduction to Samsung and I must say that it has been magnificent. I love the edge screen, the in-display fingerprint sensor, and the camera quality is really good. Samsung's Theme Store has also become my addiction. That is also a very good deal on the S10.

I've used LG products before (G3) and the V line has always intrigued me. I can understand your conundrum! Keep us posted on what you decide!

The V30 is dated so support with security updates is questionable. I'm not sure if it will see any more OS updates. The Note 10 is the latest so even though it's a bit more its newer tech and in my opinion a much better device.
Also, if the camera is important, the Note 10 has a better camera.

There is no problem with the V30 being a bit older as I just received Pie. However, I went an entirely different route and picked up an S10e on amazon right now. They have them factory unlocked and renewed for 400 dollars or under. I picked up the Prism White version for 370 at check out. No tax. 90 day warranty. I'll take it! Only thing I'm really gonna miss is having a quad hd display.

Pie has been out awhile so that may be the last update. If updates aren't important to you the LG is not a bad device. The Samsung is stil the better deal unless you need the LG Quad DAC

The S10e is a fantastic device! And the Priam White is a great colour to boot! I've heard fantastic things about the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. I was actually going to buy the S10e as well. Its flat display is really awesome and it'll be much easier for you to buy a screen protector for the S10e than it would be for an S10.

I have had my honor for 3 years now and it works perfectly fine, I would never dream of changing it. Not at least for a couple more years
