New Pokemon on Dec 12!

Looks like the big update adding a ton of new Pokemon hits on Dec 12 per niantic.

It's only info about new Pokemon on 12th December. They may not be released then.

Yeah. But it does make sense to release them with the next nest migration which, if they follow the pattern of the past couple months, should be on the 14th.

I caught a festive Pikachu today. It had the hat on in sightings but not on the capture screen. It did not have the hat on after I captured it but after I got home the hat appeared! It is my lowest Pokémon at 38 CP.

Yes. By the Pokedex I count 6 altogether and have hatched two: Pichu and Igglybuff. Forgive me for not knowing the others names… Baby: Clefairy, Jynx, Electabuz and Magmar.

Interesting note. If you did not hatch any, your Pokedex will not be updated. It will show Dragonite as the last entry, as before. I hatched Pichu and my Pokedex went up to 172, it was the last entry. I then hatched a Igglybuff and the Pokedex went up to 174.

Rather uninspiring bunch really... And I bet people will complain that they can't get Pikachu et al from eggs anymore.

Wait til gen 4 drops and they can only get Munchlax and not Snorlax anymore! If it lasts that long.

To be honest, I prefer that they've decided to slowly trickle new Pokémon out rather than just dumping 100 new ones in one go. Makes more sense for the format.

Got the Christmas hat Pikachu relatively fast and easy but the others are a pain. My egg storage is full already so I have to hatch a bunch of eggs before I even get a shot at the new ones. Of course that means buying incubators which I assume is the whole reason for the egg based event anyway. Niantic is really good at getting my money from me. LOL

No difference between these and regular eggs. Same colors, same distances.

As I recall, it was a 5k egg. Only 2k I had was the Igglypuff. I just did a search and others confirm it was a 5k hatch for Pichu also. Remember, Dratini is a 10k hatch while Charmander is a 2k egg. Eevee was also a 10k. Kind of mixed up, yes. I can firmly confirm LOTS of Eevee came from 10k eggs!!!

As I recall, it was a 5k egg. Only 2k I had was the Igglypuff. I just did a search and others confirm it was a 5k hatch for Pichu also. Remember, Dratini is a 10k hatch while Charmander is a 2k egg. Hmm, I wonder why they changed it from 2k to 5k... Yeah, I vividly remember my first 10k hatching into an Eevee... I was pretty unimpressed lol

No Clefa hatched yet but it is seen as someone put it into a gym.
