Every time I add a new social media service to my phone, the people I am friends with or follow get sucked into my contacts. Is there anyway to turn this feature off?

Every time I add a new social media service to my phone, the people I am friends with or follow get sucked into my contacts. Is there anyway to turn this feature off?

You should see syncing options when you first add an account. Try deleting the social media account and add it back. I've found, however, that when you add Facebook and/or Twitter, it seems to default to drawing contact images from these sites.

Until a fix is available, I've decided not to add social media accounts because I have a lot of existing images in my Google contacts that I prefer to use.
