New radio and constant reboots...

I've been noticing whenever I do a reboot (mine have all been planned for one reason or another), my battery will drop 10-15% also. Coming from a Storm 2 before this phone, I'm horribly used to that, and figured it was normal.

Given how buggy this RUU is, I suspect we'll see another iteration of it before any sort of official release.

Hopefully we will soon. It seems to be giving everyone odd bugs all around. For some if helps or fixes one thing but messes something else up then the others nothing is wrong at all.

havent had any reboots and i was just in a 4glte area

I wonder if its ROM specific? I am on Das BAMF 1.5. Boogie is on MikMIk's.

And you are on VirusRom Airborne RC1B3.1 Boogie and I have the issues and you dont?

Well lets just say I just came in from the city and my 4G in the middle of the city kept going in and out...that was with the second option radio....gonna try the 3rd one.

Hmm and probably not enough time to let it reboot?! Huh?

^^^So MikMik 1.4 is official. I used Hash Droid to check my MD5sum. The number on my screen doesnt match the one he posted "MD5: a9d32756408cd80d2e2a9a93bbf4564d". Will that change once I flash the new radio?

No it shouldn't have anything to do with anything other than the download itself. It could be corrupted. They always say if it doesnt match download and check again. Unless he typed it in wrong. Im going to go back to stock using:

No reboot but I went to bed with nothing running on my phone and it went from 39% to 0% in 4.5 hours with new radio and das bamf 1.5.

I'm trying perfect storm 1.4 and if that doesn't work it's back to the old radio for good.

So I spent the last two days out and about jumping in and out of 4G. The radio seems a bit messy for sure, my transition is all kinds of slow, and 4G didn't stick for very long. No reboots, but my 4G radio definitely seems to be having some problems.

I'll probably stick to 3g for now, and wait for a new RUU, or go back to the old radio eventually. I'll see how it goes over the next few days though.

I went back go the previous rooted stock and mikmik 1.3 and I am back in my peice of mind :)....3G hasn't flicked...no reboots.

Imoseyon's v1.11 extreme 1.4GHz. I've run his kernels from the beginning with no issues.

Well i decided to wipe and load the stock ruu. Then instead of going back to older bamf version I stayed with 1.5 but instead loaded new radio while wiping everything. I also used the same kernel you did.

One thing I did notice was that when I would power down and reboot the screen would say "htc quietly brilliant" the another screen saying "htc quietly rooted". That was before now i do the same and it only shows "quietly rooted"which is what I believe should be right?

When you all reboot what shows up?

Yea but i mean its only supposed to show the "HTC Quietly Rooted" right. Well before it used to go through both then the lightning. I always felt it was wrong. This time i wiped alot of times to make sure i did it right. And the only one it shows now is the BAMF one. It just feels right to me now.

Only one screen on my boot up. Says quietly rooted on it. I'm not using the themed one, but I'd imagine its the same.

Im going to old radio and Das BAMF 1.4 for now. Let me know how perfect storm goes and what kernel are you flashing?

Just an update. perfect storm has been great. Latest version with the leaked radio and I've had no issues and battery is just as good as bamf.

I don't know if my issues with bamf came from vzw doing maintenance on the towers at the time but for now I'm staying with PS1.4

OK, well i thought i was never going to have to post in this thread again. The last 24 hours have been just awful. I had been coasting since reflashing and completely wiping everything and not restoring anything for about a week. I decided to load BAMF Remix 1.6 about 24 hours ago. I did a full wipe of everything and also started fresh without restoring anything.

I have had 4 (yes count 'em FOUR) reboots in the last 24 hours. I have only had about 2 at the most before the week of basically none. I have not had enough. Im not to the point of being ticked off. Since i have had WAY worse luck on BB.

I just wanted to let you all know that i am back on the REBOOT wagon. I want to know if any one has used 1.6 on the old radios??

Since Verizon is going to release what looks like the same radio version that leaked out a while back. Do they test these before releasing? can the radio files themselves be edited and still keep the same version number. Its a shot in the dark. Giving Verizon's history of BAD releases!!
