I am having extremely bad time with my new S4's battery. I have already exchanged the device once and these wakelocks are making my experience a nightmare. Last night i charged my phone to 100% and overnight my battery drained to 55%. I have downloaded wakelock detector and clock and Calendar storage are major culprits. Calendar had 1600 wakelock triggers in one night. I am so frustrated right now. I can't find any possible way of dealing with this situation. How do I deal with wakelocks related to stock apps like clock and calendar.

Is your stock Calendar app a Samsung app, or is it Google Calendar? If it isn't Google Calendar, you could try disabling the stock Calendar and installing Google Calendar:

1. Go to Settings/Apps/All, select Calendar, and tap Disable.
2. Go to Google Play, search for "Google Calendar," and install it.
3. Open Google Calendar and log in with your Google account.

Be aware that if you entered any events on your stock Calendar into any account besides your Google account, you won't be able to access them if you disable the stock app and install the Google Calendar app.

I think it is google calendar storage and when I disable calendar storage and try to use the downloaded google calendar app, it doesn't work

Don't disable Calendar Storage. This is used by both your stock Calendar app and Google Calendar (the one you can download and install). What I suggested was to disable the Calendar app and install Google Calendar from the Play Store. Have you tried that?
