New S6 with problems, Bluetooth won't stay on

I have a couple weeks old Galaxy S6 that was working great until suddenly today the Bluetooth stopped working..

I turn the phone on from the OFF state.

When it boots, I open the app drawer and choose Settings. Then Bluetooth.

In the Bluetooth screen the switch is toggled off, now I tap the switch to turn it on and it turns green. The text "Turning on.." appears and all looks well, but then suddenly the switch just toggles back to the OFF position again!

I've tried turning it on repeatedly, same thing happens. Have tried toggling it from the pull down menu, and same thing.. It just turns on for 10 seconds then back off again.

It's completely unhelpful, not a single error message or anything.. Impossible for me to troubleshoot

I tried uninstalling all my apps, didn't fix it.

Last step is for me to send it away for service and put my SIM card back in the iPhone 5... Don't make me do it, folks!

Help me!

Re: New S6 with problems, Bluetooth won't stay on

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? Or turning WiFi on first, then trying Bluetooth?

If it doesn't work there, I'm almost sure it's a hardware issue, but it wouldn't hurt to try to factory reset the device (since you've already uninstalled everything that shouldn't hurt too much, just remember to back up documents, pictures, etc. since that wipes EVERYTHING in your phone).

If that doesn't help, yup, it's hardware.
