I do not remember seeing that as an option when long-pressing app icons before today...

For the record this is a T-Mobile Note 8

You just go to galaxy apps and press on the top right corner, press updates and it's there. It's not a system update

In my case and many others on Verizon, the update wasn't there (who knows if/when it will be with V). I had to go to the link provided in post #15 of this thread to get it.

Got the update not too long ago from the Play Store.

I have had the update for a while, but didn't realize that you had to switch on the "swipe-down anywhere" feature for it to be there! Hah!

I do like that because I view the notifications frequently, but almost never need to look at all of the apps. So swiping up to see those is fine, at least for me. Good info!

The V20 had a lot of potential and I loved the IR Blaster and DAC but I had bad screen burn in and it was getting pretty slow....
Blazing new trails with the Note8... Just wish it had the IR Blaster
